    • Was wir machen:
      In accordance with the DBG’s statutes, our goals are: * to break down prevalent stereotypes and foster interpersonal and inter-organisational contacts between the two countries and between Dresden and its twin city of Coventry in particular, * to contribute to wider knowledge of all aspects of British culture, arts and lifestyle, * to initiate and promote debate on current economic, political and cultural issues, * to secure and develop a united Europe while maintaining transatlantic ties. To achieve these aims, our main activities include: * fostering the ties between Dresden and its twin city of Coventry through interpersonal and inter-organisational contacts, exchange and visits, * the invitation of guest speakers from the UK and Germany who talk about current affairs or aspects of British culture, arts, history, society and lifestyle, * workshops, courses, film and theatre nights, readings and book presentations, exhibitions and other activities aimed at promoting knowledge about all things British. We also sometimes meet to celebrate British events such as certain culturally relevant holidays or cultural events such as the Last Night of the Proms.
    • Wer wir sind:
      We are a non-profit, registered association of people from all kinds of social and professional backgrounds from the German city of Dresden, Saxony, who are interested and actively involved in social and cultural exchange and dialogue with the United Kingdom.
